The Unsung Heroes
“These often unsung heroes understand ... that poverty, disease and famine are just as deadly and destructive as earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis."

Tomorrow love will pass by
To lift me up to the great halls of life
Then I will behold a mirrored eye
Of all the impure and imperfect melt away
I saw shadows broken up
Light so tangible, so alive
Wrapping yet filling
A quest so great and restless
It will only lay down
To show a wayward path
Unlittered by none of the jagged stones
And a ring of truth lasting
To accompany the broken, wearied traveller
At last, will it sound and all will hear it.
